Village Hall is closed today in observance of Memorial Day.
The annual gathering of veterans, their families and the community is typically scheduled for this day at the Peace Triumphant Monument in Scoville Park, just west of Oak Park Avenue on Lake Street. More details will be posted as they become available.

A Memorial Day ceremony for the community will be held at the Peace Triumphant Memorial in Scoville Park at 11 a.m. The program will include remarks from Illinois Senate President Don Harmon and Village of Oak Park President Vicki Scaman. The Oak Park Police Department's Honor Guard Unit will also be present for the ceremony.
The board is scheduled to meet at 5 p.m. in room 101 for a special public meeting.
The meeting will not be streamed live, however an audio recording will be available within 24 hours of the meeting's conclusion.
